OwlIMPACT Annual · Partnership Report
The social value one school generated in a year
Ysgol Cwm Aled · Academic year 2025–26 · Evidence Partnership funded by Maenan Build & Civil Ltd

Everything the school community gave this year — clubs run beyond the timetable, mentoring, parent and community volunteers, employer sessions — logged as it happened by the people who did it, and costed at published rates. One firm's Evidence Partnership funded the platform that captured it all. This is the legacy a partnership leaves, evidenced.

Two audiences, one evidence base

For the school: a year of activity evidenced as it happened — employer sessions mapped to 4 of 8 Gatsby benchmarks, ready evidence for the Careers and Work-Related Experiences requirements of the Curriculum for Wales, statutory from September 2026. Evidence for Estyn, gathered through the year rather than rebuilt the night before.

For the sponsor's board: the whole picture their partnership made possible — £13,747 of evidenced social value and 640 volunteer hours captured at one school in one year — plus their own delivered sessions, itemised above. A legacy page for CSR, ESG and tender evidence.

An Evidence Partnership pairs one local business with one school for a year: the business delivers and funds, the school receives, and every session is logged as it happens. Social value is costed at £16.93/hr (National TOMs 2022, 2021 prices) on the hours actually given; students are counted as reach, never costed. Every rate is published with its source at owlimpact.wales/methodology.
