Every session your workers deliver creates real social value — and changes the young people in front of them. Owl Impact™ lets you evidence both: a dated, costed social value report in pounds, and the distance travelled — the shift in confidence, wellbeing and more. Ready for funding bids and impact returns. Two minutes to log; young people stay a headcount, never named.
Test them live today. You can also track the same group over time.Funders increasingly want a financial figure alongside your outcomes story. Owl Impact gives you a costed social value total from the work you already do — ready for bids and reports.
You record the session and staff hours, never the young people. They're counted as reach — a headcount, never named or profiled. On the right side of safeguarding and UK GDPR.
Don't file it under software. Funders recognise evidence-and-evaluation infrastructure as a cost you can build into a grant — and it's the tool that strengthens the next bid.
Your outcomes tell funders what changed for a young person. Owl Impact adds what it was worth. Together they're far harder to turn down than either alone — and the social value figure drops straight into a funding application or end-of-grant report. The figure is a floor under your case, not the whole of it.
Social value is built from staff hours — the time your workers put in — using a recognised national social value proxy (currently £16.93 per hour — National TOMs 2022, on an ONS replacement-cost basis at 2021 prices). Young people are counted as reach, not pounds. And because every rate is configurable — agreed once at setup and applied to every log — it can be set up for England, Scotland or Northern Ireland with the recognised figures you already work to.
A youth work session, workshop, mentoring or community activity — as you always do.
A short form captures the session, and Owl Impact calculates the social value automatically.
A dated, costed report lands in your inbox — ready for funding bids, reports and your board.
The figure is built on a recognised, published national proxy and a stated method — not a black box. You can see how it's reached.
The only personal data held is names and email addresses. Session details, hours and headcounts aren't personal data, and nothing about a young person is stored. UK GDPR throughout.
Owl Impact™ is part of the AsktheOwl® suite from ATO Insight Solutions Ltd, Flintshire. UK trade marks held; ICO registered.
